Chris Tse – a School District #43 alumni, speaks from a place that is both deeply personal but profoundly relatable. His stories of growing up in an immigrant family provide countless anecdotes that speak to lessons of courage, hard work, and perseverance, based on the humble heroes in his own life. He also discusses the importance of taking inspiration from heroes, specifically Martin Luther King Jr. and Craig Kielburger, and turning that inspiration into action. Finally, Chris draws on his varied international experience to share stories of young people he’s met on his travels who’ve shown him what it takes to become a hero himself.
