few things to keep in mind for the following week.
Monday,
September 30th is Orange Shirt Day. This is a time to
recognize the reconciliation with First Peoples. We are encouraging
students to wear something orange on this day. We will honour Orange
Shirt day with an assembly at 11:00am.
Picture
day is Tuesday, October 1st. Lifetouch photographers will be
here to take individual student portraits. Please ensure you student
arrives at school on time as classes will begin having their photos taken right
at the beginning of the day. You will be able to view and order your
child’s portrait online. After Picture Day, order your pictures on
mylifetouch.ca using your Portrait ID and Access Code which can be found on
your Picture Day order form.
We
had our first earthquake drill on Wednesday. Does your family have a plan
for home in the event of an emergency or disaster? You can find more
