Thanks to everyone for making our Readathon a success!  We have surpassed our goal of $12000 and reached an astounding $13030!  All the money will be used to support our library!  We accomplished this in four weeks!  Special thanks to parent Ms. Sing, for spearheading the event! 

We will celebrate our success with me following through on my promise to get a “Hair Cut”.  We will do this tomorrow (Wednesday, February 3^rd) at Morning Fitness, at the beginning of the day.  Parents are welcome! 

There are some subtle and not so subtle messages in our Readathon. 

·        We want children to value reading. 

·        Everyone’s actions can contribute to a greater cause.

·        When a community comes together, we can accomplish great things. 

·        When someone makes a promise, he/she needs to follow through…even if it is something as silly as a “hair cut”. J

There will be limited seating in our gym, so please expect to stand.  There is the possibility of local media coverage of the event.
