I’d like to wish your family a safe Halloween! Our day is ending after a morning full of station activities and a Halloween Sing-Along this afternoon. Halloween is an exciting day for the kids! You can see some of the pictures on our Twitter site: http://www.twitter.com/@waltonSD43
The Halloween Monster Mash Dance is this evening! The committee is hoping some parents can lend hand cleaning up after 10:00 since the school has to be cleaned and vacated by 10:59:59 tonight.
I believe tickets will be available at the door in case you change your mind and do attend.
Halloween night brings some challenges for a public school with a heightened chance of vandalism. We are asking neighbours to keep an eye on our school in case there is suspicious activity this weekend, especially Saturday night. On Monday morning, there is a chance that we will find spent fireworks littering our school grounds. We are asking students not to pick up these items, but to ask an adult for help.
Of course, this weekend we turn our clocks back one hour! I think we all need that extra hour of sleep!
Thanks everyone! Happy Halloween!
