​Mrs. Jody Moss has been appointed to lead Mountain View into the future.   Jody is very excited to become part of the learning team here at Mountain View and she looks forward to meeting the students and parents on September 4th.  Mrs. Moss has worked at several schools in the district from elementary to high school and has also been an important member of  the Coquitlam Inclusion team.   Our staff has already met her and together we have made plans to create a wonderful and successful year for your children.   

Mr. Aaron Dugas is our new Division 1, grade 5 teacher.  Mr. Dugas was previously at Glen Elementary  in Coquitlam and  before that taught in Abbortsford.  He brings a passion for technology, a love of PE and inqury projects along with his experience in intermediate instruction.   Mr. Dugas  is presently off with his young family camping and exploring the many wonders of our province.

Our beloved grade 2 teacher, Mrs. Kimberly Morris, is expecting her first child in September, so she will be on maternity leave for the entire school year.  Mrs. Morris will be returning to Mt. View in the 2019-2020 school year and has promised to bring her new daughter to visit us.

Mrs. Stephanie Thoms will be returning to her grade 3/4 class in March of 2019 as her maternity leave will end at that time.  She will continue to visit with her son before that time and is looking forward to joining the team once again.  Meanwhile a teacher will be appointed in August in work with her class.
