​Students will be attending the Evergreen Cultural Center to do a fine arts workshop experimenting with weaving tapestries.
Departure time: 8:50am.
Arriving back at school at 12:00
Cost: $7.00 per student
Students will need to bring a pocket snack, and appropriate rain gear if it rains that day.
Although strongly encouraged, attendance is optional; therefore, if you do not wish your child to participate in this activity, alternate learning experiences will be provided at the school.
We will require parent volunteers and drivers who will supervise the number of students. Please notify your child's teacher if you are able to drive for this event.
Please check with the school office to ensure correct forms are in place( ie: CRC, Driver's Abstract, Volunteer Form).
Unfortunately, due to SD43 regulations and procedures, siblings cannot be accommodated. While school staff take reasonable steps to prevent injuries to students, some degree of risk is inherent in the nature of activities and may occur without fault on the part of the student, School Board, its employees or agents, or the facility where the activity is taking place. By allowing your child to participate in this activity, you agree that the activity described above is suitable for your child, and that there is a risk of injury associated with the activity.
No student will be denied access to this activity due to an inability to pay. Please contact the school's principal to discuss a fee waiver.​
