In Leadership 9/10 students have been working on identifying various leadership skills and demonstrating these through a variety of activities at the school and in the community.  Activities at the school level have included designing a leadership logo and athletic wear, creating awareness for Terry Fox day, and brainstorming and planning for future school events.  Community includes weekly trips to the animal shelter and the senior center.

Animal Shelter

At weekly visits to the animal shelter, students spend time with the cats, giving them much needed attention and receiving much needed cuddles in return. 

Senior Centre

At the senior center, students participate in a range of activities with the residents including playing games, participating in physical activity and simply having one-to-one conversations.
