RC MacDonald - home of the Ravens!

Located in the heart of Coquitlam and surrounded by the natural beauty of our West Coast environment, RC MacDonald is a place where students, staff, and families come together to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive learning community. Our school motto, “Together We’re Better,” reflects the spirit of collaboration and connection that defines everything we do.

I am excited to be the new principal of RC MacDonald, and I am looking forward to building connections and relationship in this special school community.  In our classrooms, on our playgrounds and in our communities, our students are supported by an incredible team of educators and a network of families to encourage them to grow as leaders and as citizens who are capable, connected and contributing. 

Our school song beautifully captures the pride and joy we feel as part of the RC MacDonald family:

These lyrics remind us that our school is more than just a building—it’s a place where every child is seen, heard, and celebrated.

As Ravens, we look forward to embracing the excitement and challenges of the new school year, celebrating our successes and coming together when learning is challenging. This year will be full of exciting possibilities, moments of growth and the opportunities to strengthen our connections to one another. 

 I look forward to working with your children, our staff, the families of RC MacDonald and our wider community to make this school year filled with empowering our students to engage in meaningful learning, friendships and experiences.
