Hello Porter Street Families, 

I am the new counsellor at Porter Street Elementary and I am thrilled to be joining this wonderful community. My role at the school is to support students’ social and emotional well-being and I do this through in-class lessons, as well as small groups and individual sessions with students.  

I started working in the Coquitlam School District just this past April. I come from the Vancouver School Board where I worked as an elementary counsellor for 8 years. Before that I worked for the Surrey School District for 10 years as a French Immersion classroom teacher at the K-7 level and for 1 year as a secondary counsellor.
