At Kway, we believe that music provides students with opportunities to grow and learn in amazing ways. They also allow students to build relationships with students who have similar interests, across teams and grades.  Our Band and Choir programs run throughout the school year before school from 7:45 to 8:25 am.  We have a beginner band for students who have never played an instrument before, and an advanced band for students who have moved on from beginner band or have experience playing their instrument.  Students are able to choose from a variety of instruments including: flute, clarinet, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, percussion, bass guitar and more.

We have two choirs at Kway, our Girl's Choir and our Guys Chorus.  This year over 80 students participated in our choirs and they performed at our Music Concerts, Lafarge Lake and for our incoming students during out Grade 6 for a morning event.
