To support community members interested in serving as a school trustee, we are pleased to host So You Want to Be a Trustee in SD43 on September 3 at 1:00 PM at the Education Learning Center (1080 Winslow Avenue). 

This session will be led by Superintendent Nadine Tambellini and Secretary-Treasurer Nita Mikl, and will feature special guest presenter Jordan Tinney. Jordan is a retired superintendent who is currently working with the BC School Superintendents Association (BCSSA) on governance initiatives. He will provide valuable insight into the role, responsibilities, and scope of work of school trustees. 

We look forward to supporting and informing those interested in contributing to educational governance in our district.
