WHAT IS THE Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)?
PAC stands for Parent Advisory Committee, which is a group of parents, like yourselves that choose to take an active part in their child's education. Most extra curricular activities can only happen with parent involvement. In addition, the money raised through collection and fundraising helps offset the costs to parents for things like fieldtrips and planners. Money raised also helps support the school with upgrades to school equipment and technology advancements. As well, PAC supports teachers and staff to facilitate extracurricular activities.
PURPOSE OF PAC:
- PAC monthly meetings to learn about upcoming plans, make decisions on important educational and fun programs that enhance a positive and exciting school experience, bring forth issues, and offer suggestions. Please check Bramblewood Elementary website calendar for PAC meeting dates, as we would welcome you joining our next meeting. Email: bramblewoodparents2@gmail.com for zoom link

PAC News:
Hello Bramblewood Families !
Welcome to the 2026/2027 school year.
HOT LUNCH IS NOW OPEN FOR ORDERING !!
Please take a moment to review a few important announcements to the hot lunch program this school year:
1) BPAC piloted a change to the ordering process late last year and it was a great success. We have chosen to adopt this model for this year's Hot Lunch system. BPAC will be offering a total of 17 hot lunch days throughout the year, all of which are now open for ordering via Munch-a-Lunch. Similar to our pilot program last year, all dates will remain open for ordering up until 2pm the Thursday the week prior to that corresponding date. This allows flexibility to our Bramblewood families to order based on their individual needs.
Example: Pizza Pizza is being offered on June 25th - this date will remain open for ordering, up to and including, Thursday June 17th at 2pm.
2) Although BPAC understands that having weekly hot lunch reminder correspondence can be helpful, we are kindly asking families to adopt a personal method of tracking your child's hot lunch days. In collaboration with the school administration, BPAC will not be sending out hot lunch reminders this year. Instead kindly refer to Mr. Bird's "Week Ahead" email to watch for hot lunch reminders/notations on the calendar. This decision has been made in an effort to minimize the email correspondence we receive and ensure important school communication is not missed or overlooked.
3) If your child will be unexpectedly away when they have ordered hot lunch, we kindly ask families to notify the office by 10am if you wish to collect your child's lunch; otherwise, the lunch items will be donated to another student in need.
4) BPAC has taken your feedback and partnered with new vendors to offer students more variety and healthier options. As our student body has a diverse age range we are also introducing portion options of 'small or medium' with certain vendors. Please take note of this when ordering to ensure your child receives a size suitable to their needs. Attached is a sample of the sizing to help you determine which size is best suited.
5) Prior to ordering please ensure your child is listed under the correct division/class to ensure their order is received.
BPAC would like to thank you for all your support, the funds raised from Hot Lunch go directly back into providing students with enriching opportunities and events throughout the school year.
Thank you
BPAC Lunch Coordinator
