Please welcome Ms. Friesen again and also Mr. Millin. We hope you find us helpful today!
Lorna, our artist in residence is working with Fire Pod and Wind Pods today- hope you brought your dark and bright fabrics with your white plastic bags!
If you would like to participate in a little mini art club with Lorna, let your teacher know. We have a limited number of spaces for you next week at lunch!
Reminders from Ms. Jung
Safety First
We continue to mask up and follow safety protocols that make sense as the Omicron variant virus is still viral, pardon the pun! Please use the washroom one at a time, at all times! Stand on the dots and space out between classes and pods!
R is for Respect
If you have your arms around others, you are too close! Please show respect for all others by keeping your hands to yourself. We are not sitting across from each other and standing across from others during breaks requires the same thing. Step back. Step away, We are privileged to be at school!
Birthdays
Today, Happy Birthday to Isabelle!
Leadership and SLC
February is Real Acts of Caring Month, but let's not wait until then, caring for others is an important part of being a community... EVERY DAY! So, please think about helping out TOMORROW at lunch in the MPR to make special messages! You will need to bring your best writing pens, (gel, sharpies, glitter) ... anything that will look nice on paper! Also, please note, Monday is Pro D Day, so no school for students - please stay home and connect with your friends and family!
Basketball
Grade 7 and 8 boys basketball is today after school in the gym. Please remember to bring a water bottle!
Joke of the Day
Researchers have discovered ants can't get Covid. Yes, they are actually immune.....
They have ant-i-bodies!
