After a great deal of thoughtful consideration and discussions, in order to have the whole staff participate in professional development session by Ruth Sutton, a world-renowned expert on formative assessment strategies, we need to make a change to the May 20 school-based professional day that we had communicated to parents in the fall. The change will be as follows:
The professional day originally scheduled for May 20 will be shifted to April 20 which means that our students would be off for six days in a row with April 21 being a district professional day already, Good Friday on the 22nd, Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday on the 25
