Dear Westwood Community Members,
The school is hosting a hybrid Food Drive with all proceeds going to the SHARE Society.
Between December 11th – 20th we will be collecting donations of non-perishable items. Students can bring items to school and volunteers will be collecting them every morning. Please check expiration dates on any goods you are donating as food expiring prior to February 2025 will not be accepted by SHARE.
Items in demand include:
-rice
-pasta
-canned vegetables, canned tomatoes, canned meat (tuna)
-tea and coffee
-cooking oil
-instant oatmeal and cereal packs
-baby diapers (large)
SHARE Society also appreciates receiving cash donations as they can use the money to purchase fresh food (fruits, vegetables, dairy products, bread) for their food hampers. You can can donate money by accessing the fundraising webpage at https://bcvfd.foodbank.bc.ca/fundraiser/Westwood
