International Education Welcome -Tuesday, August 26th at 9 am

Welcome to our International Educations students, parents and guardians,
 
On Tuesday, August 26th from 9am to 11 am, Port Moody Secondary will be welcoming all of our International Students from around the world.
 
On Tuesday 26th the administration will be receiving all of our new students.  During this two hour meeting we shall be helping students to become familiar with their new school.  Our agenda will include:
 
1. Port Moody Welcome -introduction of the administration
2.  Introduction of the new school
3.  School Tour
4.  School materials -school map, bell schedules, 2014-2015
     Agenda, start-up package for September
5.  Assessment information  -written activity
6. School Tour
 
We hope to complete all of these activities by 11 am. 
 
Any International Student who registered for an appointment for the English Language Learner testing and counsellor apporintment on Tuesday, August 26th and Wednesday, August 27th are asked to attend the Port Moody Secondary International Student Welcome at 9 am on Tuesday, August 26th.
 
We hope to see parents, guardians and homestay parents attend with their student.  Coffee, tea and baking will be provided for during the session.
 
We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, August 26th at 9 am in the multipurpose room as you enter the school.
