Happy last few weeks of August!

I hope you and your family have had a fantastic summer and are gearing up for the start of the new school year.

The first day of school for École Pitt River Community Middle School is September 2^nd, 2025.  This first day will be for attendance and receiving information about the first week of school. 
For this first day, students will be welcomed to the gym to receive their letter, showing the room and teacher they will be with for the first week.  This is not their core room/teacher, but for the first week of activities.

Grade 7 and 8 students will meet from 9:15 to 9:45 in the gym.  Please follow the directions of our staff to find your table in the gym to receive your letter.

Grade 6 students will meet in the gym from 10:15 to 10:45.  We know that some students may have some anxiety around this and we can support them through this process.

The first full day will be on Wednesday, September 3^rd.  The welcoming bell is at 8:35 am and students can enter the school to find their first week room at 8:40 am.  They will need their lunch, snack, water bottle, paper, pen and pencil, pencil crayons.  They should be dressed for the weather, as we do go outside, rain or shine.  Be sun safe!

The schedule for the year is as follows:

NOTE:  Thursdays have an early dismissal at 1:45 every week.  Regular dismissal (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) is at 2:50 pm.
