A great family event!  This News Year’s eve, for the third year, a group of former Maple Creek students who are now Pinetree Secondary graduates, will be hosting a neighbourhood fireworks show at the grass field at Maple Creek from 12:00 am to 12:20 am.

This group has previously done the show at Nestor in past years.  They have a permit from the fire department  and the city and have experience with this sort of event.  The RCMP will be present for any crowd control if the event is too large.  Last year’s event met with much praise and success.    Feel free to come out and watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve.   Part of the Maple Creek parking lot will be open, but parking will be at a premium, so the best plan would be to walk. I know the group is financially strapped and would be  most grateful if you brought a few dollars to donate if you attend the show.
