We are excited to propose a music tour to New York City in the spring of 2013. We are have an informational meeting at Pinetree at lunchtime on Tuesday February 28th. The purpose of this meeting is to outline the educational and music goals for this opportunity and to answer any questions. Because this proposal is outside Canada, we need to start the planning process now. A deposit of $100 will be needed to secure a place on this trip. This deposit will be non-refundable because airlines seats will need to be booked prior to Summer 2012. We will continue to inform students of any up-dates to this proposal. If the tour does get district approval, it will be the third time Pinetree secondary music students have traveled and performed in New York City.
