Acknowledgement of the Territories

Recently some students gathered to work with Ms. Meredith and Rebecca whom you saw at the assembly on Tuesday to write their own Acknowledgement of the Territories.  You heard the first groups present on Tuesday and we continue on with the original and personal acknowledgements today, from Isabella and Hannah.

If you notice something is not clean in the bathroom, report it immediately. We all deserve to feel safe in a clean environment so let your teacher know when something is off. Thanks to Ms. Clark for helping us ensure our spaces are clean especially as locker clean out is happening over the next few days!

National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

Today is National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism.  Our flags are being flown at half mast in Canada to recognize the innocent lives that have been forever changed. We take this time to reflect on the many things we have to be grateful for including being able to attend school with friends, to try and get a good night's sleep, and to have food on the table. If we don't have these things, there's teachers and staff we can reach out to at school and that is something to be grateful for, too.
