Safety First
If you are chewing gum, this is a reminder that chewing gum and playing outside is a safety or choking hazard. For this reason, there is no gum at school, please. Save it for after school!
R is for Respect
We are not eating or drinking outside yet at lunch so please, no vending machine visits until after school since you are not going back to your class or lockers to drop off your purchases! This just makes good sense. Thank you!
Hot Lunch
Be sure you order your hot lunch and treat day treats early.if you feel like you missed out on frozen yogurt or Subway! There's tacos, Krispy Kreme donuts and other yummy treats coming up!
XSTEAMCon
Tomorrow, we have our exciting XSTEAMCon event. Please be on time as the presentation will start on time in the gym for Water and Fire pods in the morning and then Earth and Wind Pods in the afternoon. Repetition is good so you'll also be reminded tomorrow that the front of the school is going to be closed to students at Nut Break and Lunch as well as the spaces where the presenters will be sharing with us! Thank you!
This is a reminder to our student volunteers that there is a training session after school today until 3:30pm. There is a chance you may need to stay longer. If this is an issue and you haven't touched base with Ms. Jung yet, please do so today at Nut Break or lunch outside! Open Gym
There is open gym for the grade 7s today but tomorrow, there is no open gym for grade 8s as the gym will be closed for the XSTEAMCon event!

TALENT SHOW
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS - Are you interested in performing in this year's Talent Show on June 3rd? Do you play an instrument? Sing? Dance? Do Magic? It's time to start practicing your act and getting it ready if you are interested in participating.
Auditions will be held for all students who would like to perform. The sign-up sheets for auditions will go up in the main foyer of the school NEXT week. The auditions will take place from may 16th -20th at lunch in the Music Room.
We're looking forward to showcasing all of the amazing talent we have here at Moody Middle!
