Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

When we sit together and play together, these should be people we spend more time with in a day and on a regular basis. Wearing our masks just makes it that much safer for us to be together and spend time together. Remember to bring an extra mask just incase!

R is for Respect

Today is a special day. We have been learning about proper etiquette so that we can come together to enjoy a performance! This is the first time in two years that we will have gathered together because it is safe enough to do so. We will wait until natural breaks to go to the washroom. We will clap appropriately to show our appreciation for what we have experienced. We will listen carefully to our teachers instructions and we will help our neighbours stay focused and engaged.

Hot Lunch

It's pizza lunch day so please send your SAME two students to the MPR at noon today. Thanks!

Birthdays

Today, Happy Birthday to no one we know, but over the next two weeks on Wednesdays, Happy Birthday to Elle and Marcus!

Basketball

Reminder that Grade 7/8 Girls Basketball is on today after school. 

Fruit and Veggie Day

It's fruit and veggie day. We get to have gala apples again! Please eat your apple inside your classroom, or take it home for after school. Thanks!

Leadership

Today we are spreading more awareness about the dispute between Ukraine and Russia and that's why many of us are wearing "White for Peace!" Again, it is a reminder to us of the importance of spreading peace and hope instead of hurtful actions.

You can also show support by donating to the Canadian Red Cross at donate.redcross.ca. If you need more information or you need to talk to an adult about your feelings, ask your teachers, Christine, our Youth Worker, Ms. Armstrong, our Counsellor, Mr. Clay or Ms. Jung.
