Reminders from Ms. Jung
Safety First
We have our masks on as soon as we enter the building or we wait outside for an adult to bring us one. We wash our hands without prompting because we are respectful of keeping ourselves and others safe!
R is for Respect
The grounds outside are a reflection of us from inside the building. Please show care and put all garbage and compost in your bag to take home or use the bins around the school. We deserve to play on the grounds when they are clean and free from litter. School beautification begins with us keeping this place clean so let's each class do our part to remember where our litter goes. Thank you!
Be Intentional!
Today, let's be intentional about doing our best, listening with our eyes and ears and staying out of trouble. Remember you are at school and this is our place of work. That means we act maturely, we have fun in a cooperative way and stay out of trouble. One way to help with this is to stay in your zones! Water and Earth are in the north playground side and Fire and Wind are in the south forest side, please! We can all be leaders and be friendly! Please and thank you!
High Five Friday!
A huge thank you to Ms. Egelstad for sharing Owen, Angus and Isa's writing projects as they are thoughtful, insightful and well written! Hopefully we can get excerpts of this and Division 11's work into the Moody Matters!
Teachers and students have come together to complete another round of progress reports! There have been ups and downs and it is now time to reflect, celebrate moving forward with a fresh goal and positive intentions!
Hailey and Addison were our photo helpers yesterday! Kudos for your hard work!
Mat and Addison are starting a grassroots movement to show support for some of the global issues happening around us. Thank you for reaching out and for being informed global citizens of peace!
Ms. Nosrati is being recognized for honouring Persian culture and the new year! We are looking for a leader or two who can help us celebrate this occasion with our school community. Persian? See Ms. Jung, please!
Mme. Grayston would like to celebrate the amazing staff at EMMSOTA and also her penguins for being awesome!
