Reminders from Ms. Jung
Safety First
Apples are part of an amazing program throughout BC that provides us with nutrients to help us learn and be successful at school. Please eat your apples in class only rather than taking them home. Eat your apples in class with your mask off in your seat only!
R is for Respect
Playing with equipment? Please remember to show respect by returning it to your class afterwards. Once the bell or whistle has gone and you are lined up, please hold your ball in hand and prevent further injuries such as the concussions we have seen already!
Birthdays
There are no birthdays today.
Yearbook Page Designers
There will be a drop in at lunch tomorrow for all students working on a yearbook page. Please make sure you come, especially if you haven't started working on your page yet, or you have any questions for Ms. Leonard.
RAC Moment of Inspiration for the day!
This story is called: A Family's Food Angel
While going through a divorce, my mother fretted over many new worries:
no job, no income, unpaid bills, and no way to afford groceries. It was around this time that she started finding boxes of food left outside our door every morning. This went on for months until she was able to land a job and we slowly started getting back on our feet again. We never did find out who left the groceries, but they truly saved our lives, and we were so grateful!
This moment is an important reminder that everyday, somewhere near you, there is a person struggling that could use a helping hand – take the time to notice, and do what you can…it might just be you who needs help next, and won't it be wonderful when it is there when you need it the most. Please remember…Humanity is just a heartbeat away…and we're all in this together.
