Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

Please wear your mask over your nose and mouth even when in class! Spacing out is important especially during breaks when different friends are together. Wait for your teachers to bring you back into the school to help us minimize gatherings and clusters of people together, please!

It is still wet, soggy and icy in spots outside so tread carefully and dress appropriately for all breaks!

R is for Respect

Please be respectful and considerate and take your green waste home. This will minimize movement in class and keep contamination to a minimum.

Wear your new pod shirts tomorrow for spirit wear day! Order more spirit wear using the quick link to the spirit wear store on our school website!​​ Tomorrow is your last day to order spirit wear!

Black Excellence Day

Tomorrow is also Black Excellence Day. You may choose to wear a black shirt instead of a pod shirt in honour of those who identify as black and whom have historically been exposed to segregation, inequalilty, inequity and hurtful behaviours. Tomorrow is Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday. If you don't know who he is, and haven't heard his "I have a dream speech", take some time today to research Dr. Martin Luther King!

Pink Shirts

Coming this February, we will be honouring and celebrating:

Anti-bullying Pink Shirt Day and Random Acts of Kindness Week!! If you have seen the cool posters around the school and would like to purchase a new shirt for $10 or sweatshirt for $30, you can order yours through School Cash Online - the deadline is Monday, January 17th!

Basketball
