Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First as a sign of Respect

Being aware that you are at school, your place of learning, comes with the responsibility to use respectful language, the opportunity to hang with friends in the middle of the field, yes, in the middle of the field, and to control your volume when speaking. Today in particular, we show respect on the day before Remembrance Day, by honouring the valour of soldiers and opting for a more peaceful world. 

We thank Ms. Reichert, Ms. Magnusson, Ms. Turje and Mme. Grayston for helping us reflect on the significance of November 11th each year. We ask that you wear your poppy with respect over your left side, and, participate in watching the assembly later with a respectful silence and thoughtfulness. Your poppy wreaths are beautiful!

Immunization Forms

Your immunization forms went home yesterday or maybe today. Please return them by Monday - as soon as possible, please!

Beaver Computing Challenge

If you signed on to take part in the Beaver Computing Challenge, this is a reminder that it was moved to Friday because of the Expo Rotation change to Water Pod for today. Be prepared with a fully charged device on Friday. Ms. Jung will pick you up! Practice the old contests with the link provided! Thank you!

Field Hockey

It is game day on Friday so remember your mouth guards, please!

Cross Country

There is a Cross Country practice today at 3:15. It might be wet so dress well. There will be no Cross Country practice next week.

Virtual Book Fair

EMMSOTA's Virtual Book Fair is coming next week. Check your class Team for the link that will allow you and your family access to hundreds of books available to buy. The link can be shared with grandparents, friends, aunts, uncles or anyone. All purchases earn rewards for the library to buy new books.
