Reminders from Ms. Jung

Safety First

We have listened to so many of you and consulted with teachers and so are changing our outside play zones today. Earth and Water will pair up on the sports court side of the school for all breaks as of today. Wind and Fire will pair up to play on the north or the playground side of the school. The rubber swing will be out of commission this week as we find other ways to play outside in a respectful manner. Remember that the area of the school off Buller Street by the parking lot and the west entrance to the school is not a play area. 

R is for Respect

This week we will show respect and support for peace as we recognize Remembrance Day. We will be given poppies to wear respectfully over our heart on the left side. Donations are being collected by your teachers so please do find the loose change in the couch or the money jar! Thank you.

Immunization

There are no immunization for grade 6s until December 10th. Please return your forms ASAP so teachers can get them to the copy room!

Purdys 

The PAC is hosting a Purdys fundraiser so please take home your flyers today. They will be in letterboxes for your teachers this morning! 25% of sales supports our school activities directly!

Birthdays 

It is Christine's birthday today! Happy Birthday to Christine, Iris and Adelia. Over the weekend, Mayzie, Maria and Jun celebrated birthdays, too!

Mindful Monday

Today, we begin the week with a mindful moment with Ms. Armstrong. Thanks for helping us to start our day being present and grateful to be at school ready to learn.

SLC

There will be a meeting tomorrow, November 9 at 3:30pm online to discuss our gratitude project for the SLC Community! You will find the meeting link on our Teams General Channel. Please bring your cell phone and download the Mentimeter App before the meeting if you can.  If for some reason you can't make the meeting, don't worry, you can still participate in the event planning, the notes from the meeting will be put onto our SLC Team Channel.
