Announcements for today:
Welcome again to Mr. Baldwin! As well, we have visitors, Ms. Alvarez and Ms. Reena. Enjoy your day with us today!
Reminders from Ms. Jung:
Safety Protocols
Safe distances keep us safe. Many students are playing very close together especially outside on the rubber swings and spinning circle. Wait your turn and keep your hands to yourself. Bring a ball out and play on the grassy field! These are good, responsible choices. Two students were badly hurt in the playground area yesterday. If an adult supervisor asks you to please step away or to stop, you must listen!
Respect
S is for supportive. Show you support your friends by playing safely and fairly. Crowding around and pushing higher and faster may be fun but only until someone breaks an arm or wrist and dislocated a shoulder. Ouch!!
Orange Shirt Day
Next week is an important week. In preparation for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we will wear our orange shirts on Tuesday. Likely, you will see many of us wearing our orange shirts all through the week next week as we raise awareness for Residential School children, first peoples, and, that every child matters.
Birthdays
If you have a birthday in September, stop by the flagpole at the front of the school today after school and receive a sweet treat from Christine, our youth worker! See you at 3 at the front of the school, September birthday people!!
Today, Happy Birthday to Jack! This weekend, Happy Birthday to Lucas!
