Staying the course with daily health checks, mask wearing, physical distancing and hand washing means being prepared for school with a water bottle, good food, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, some shades for outside only, and activities suited to your zone and the heat. Keep cool by reducing activity when it is hot out and as you must wear a mask! Thank you so much!

National Indigenous Day

Today we celebrate, recognize and honour not only the 215 forgotten from the Kamloops residential school but indigenous peoples, their culture and the diversity which makes our school a place to thrive, work, play and learn.

Every child matters and today we will all do something in our classes to recognize indigenous stories, people, the arts, and culture because today, we acknowledge the territories in which we are situated, on the core territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem)(Kwee-kwet-lem) First Nation and lies within the shared traditional territories of the Tsleil-Waututh(Slay-wa-tuth), Katzie(Kate-zee), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm  (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), Quay Quayt(Key-Kite) First Nation and Sto:lo Nation. ​
