Hello guests of Moody! It's Cinco de Mayo! Hopefully you have already met some helpful people and your day continues to be met with kindness.
Reminders from Ms. Jung
We are doing all the basics with respect to hand washing, distancing and of course, mask wearing. Now, remember why we are playing in zones! Please stay in your zone and well away from students in other learning groups even though some boundaries are close together like zones 4 and 5 on the field.
Safety is our priority so use your own equipment keeping in mind that instead of basketballs, footballs and soccer balls in zones 2, 9 and 10, in other words, the amphitheater, the front of the school, and the upper deck, we have badminton rackets for you as another option in zones 9 and 10! Have fun using your imagination to come up with alternatives. Imagine that!!
Have you ever said something that isn't quite in your nature? If you feel that's about to happen again, you need to HALT. Are you Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired? We don't always make the best choices when were feeling this way. Support your mental health by having a snack, taking a breath, finding a friend or taking a rest. These simple actions can help us to be our best.
A reminder that Moody is having Formal Day on Friday May 21.
You are encouraged to dress up on this day. There will be some prizes and fun at lunch that day! We are fundraising for BC Children's Hospital this month! If you are able to donate, look on your divisions TEAM or on our school website under Quick Links. Thank you for your support!
Q: Why do I take 2 pairs of pants when I go golfing?
A: In case I make a hole in one.
