Good morning to our visitor's today! We offer our support today, to Ms. Culpo and Ms. Davies!
Reminders from Ms. Jung
We know all the basic protocols and can count them on one hand from our active daily health check to the masks we wear to and at school and the soap or sanitizer we are using frequently all while physically distancing but now that the weather has changed for the better, we also need to be mindful to protect ourselves from the sun with sunscreen and hats and to hydrate well by bringing a water bottle or two to school to drink in our seats. We also need to dress in appropriate layers and to have proper, safe footwear that is well attached to our feet. Dress sense is about respect in our school and work environment which the adults in the building are able to support with if you need it! Choose wisely and you'll be ready to learn each day!
Earth Day
Earth Day is on Thursday. Ms. Taylor-Hill suggests we consider what a different place this would be if each of us picked up just one piece of trash from the ground and recycled it. Then, imagine if this happened every day?!? We can do it! We have already started by bringing home our composting, sorting out waste and by using one piece of paper towel to dry our hands after shaking them out 12 times after washing. Perhaps you've seen the video Ms. Jung shared with teachers a few months ago? What else will you commit to!? Let's do it together! We can do this because together, we are a community or family first and a school, second. Have fun doing your part!
