Music Concert is on Thursday! Invite your parents to the Winter Music
Concert on Thursday here at 7! There are two pieces of student work and lots of
other amazing prizes to be won so be sure to arrive early, buy your tickets and
enter to win your favourite prizes!
It’s an Outside Day! What’s best about being outside? You might
just make some new friends on the playground! The garbage has been noticed
around the school so please do your part and pick up the trash and recycle
respectfully! If we each do our part, our school grounds will be more
welcoming!
Taking Care of this Place It’s been frosty, foggy, rainy and humid
out which means that we are likely to track in more mud, grass and water from
outside, making our floors more slippery. Slips, trips and falls are avoidable
so please stomp, stomp, shuffle, shuffle as you make your way into the building
to keep each other safe. That’s right – stomp, stomp, shuffle, shuffle as you
enter the building, please!
Tech Tip #11 Our school is tech-free between
8:40-3:00pm A phone is a device. Yes, your phone is a device that should be
hidden away at home or in your locker so you are not tempted to look at it,
even if you are a Water Pod or Earth Pod student involved in the Bring Your Own
Device program.
Bathroom Breaks Thanks for remembering to sign out as
instructed by your teacher for safety reasons when you visit the washroom!
Always use the paper towels and toilet paper respectfully to ensure our planet
stays clean and green!

Transit Strike BC Transit has issued notice that
skytrains will not be running on Tuesday morning. Please be prepared with
alternate transportation arrangements to arrive to school prepared to learn on
time for Tuesday morning! This may mean getting up earlier and listening to the
radio or TV news stations to find out if in fact skytrains are running on
Tuesday morning or not! See Ms Jung if you have questions about commuting to
school this week.
