Last week's music theme was from AC Mixmaster - those who guessed 'songs with amazing guitar solos' were right! Winners are Keaton, Gwenyth, Nadia & Jake, plus Staff-Christine
Morning music by DJ MC Hammer: 'Glory Days' by Bruce Springsteen & 'Load up the bases' by Whiskey Falls
Gr 8 Volleyball Girls - a quick but important meeting today at lunch in Mr. Budai's room (317)
Library - There will be a short meeting at lunch for students wanting to volunteer in the library. We will be setting up our volunteer hours.
Field Hockey - We have a field hockey practice today after school at 3:15pm. Be ready to play with mouth guard and field hockey stick in the main foyer!
Student Vote - Next Thursday, we will be having a student vote at Moody Middle to coincide with the Municipal Election our parents and adults in our community will be taking part in on October 20^th! Please look in your neighbourhood for the large signs indicating who is running and what positions these individuals are choosing to run for! They will have ideas about how to support our communities so that we can feel safe, have spaces to play and learn! Do you agree with their ideas?
Guess the Music Theme! - Mr. Clay is our resident DJ this week. Please be sure to enter up to 4 guesses about the music theme of the week for a chance to win a cool prize! The draw is outside the office as you head towards the gym. Have a look at the white board during your breaks! Good luck, Moody!
