- Field Hockey - Our first Field Hockey game on Friday was a huge success! Our Captain, Rebecca had amazing sportsmanship and was our MVP of the day. Rushaan was our notably skilled defenceman who acted as goalie, too, protecting our Moody post! Graycen stepped up as our tenacious forward as she played the entire first half of the game before getting her first break! Way to go, Moody! Remember, there is no practice today as Ms Jung has a staff meeting to attend! Bring your field hockey sticks to school by Wednesday for practice at 3:15 p.m.
Taking care of this place - Let's continue to be R.E.S.P.E.C.T.ful by making our school look, feel and sound like a safe place to play and learn together. Did you know that our water fountains give us clean, filtered water? Did you know that the taps and fountains are disinfected daily giving us the safest drink possible? Be sure to bring your water bottle to fill up but be sure not to let anything touch the spout so that our water is pure, fresh and clean! Most of us can drink about 2 of the general sized water bottles in a day! Together, we can make a difference and be green without wasting resources drinking from plastic water bottles!
Locker Visits - Learning is important at Moody so let's take better care to prepare for class while at our lockers with plenty of time to spare before school, after nut break and after lunch.
Volleyball - Gr 7 & 8 boys - you have a very important meeting today at lunch in Mr. Abello's room (310) Your first game is tomorrow and all boys need to check in to play.
Safety on the way to & from school - please use the drop-off zone on Buller, closest to the school (on the East side of the street). Please ask your parents to please follow the safety instructions

Thanks to all the staff and students for our wonderful Terry Fox event this past Friday! It was a perfect day for the run and everyone had smiles on their faces for a good cause. Don't forget to continue to ask for donations all this week. We're very close to our goal of $6000! Great job by everyone
