  • Music today by La DJ LeBlanc - 'Help' by the Beatles and 'Chasing that Neon Rainbow' by Alan Jackson
  • Music Contest:  DJ Jazzy Jung would like to thank all of our first weeks' Morning Music entrants for joining in the fun! You only have an opportunity to win when you try and guess the week's theme. This week's student winning entry goes to Rebecca from Fire Pod. She guessed the obvious Happy Theme and the actual hidden theme where the songs were organized alphabetically from happy to happiest! She was the only individual to guess correctly!
Honourable mentions go to:  Romina from Earth Pod; Charlotte from Wind Pod; Kiara from Water Pod; AND
Mr. Salindong. I haven't ever seen him enter this contest before! Kudos for participating, everyone!
All winners are to come to the office today at Nut Break to claim their prize! Let's get those guesses coming in this week! Thanks to La DJ LeBlanc for kicking off this week's Morning Music contest!
  • Gr 6 Volleyball:  If interested in Gr 6 volleyball, please meet in Mme. Grayston's room 201 at lunch today for a short meeting

  • Moody Athletics:  All team sports sign ups continue today and tomorrow.  If you are interested in trying a new sport, please sign up in the main foyer.  Practices will begin in September so sign up now!

  • StrongStart starts today - please be mindful of the little people in our school!

  • Outside Play Day:  As long as the rain is not too heavy, every day should be an outside day. During breaks, stop in the office to sign out a basketball, frisbee, soccer ball, or football. Please return your equipment at the end of the same break each time. Want a piece of equipment that is not there? Please see Ms Jung.

You have likely noticed our undercover areas lead to rushing water. Please stay away from these fountains as this action is not ideal for learning. Dress appropriately for the weather and be sure to shake off and shuffle your feet as you head in from outside.

  • Taking Care of this Place

This is an important message from Ms Jung. Shared Common Spaces are places that we all share such as the bathrooms. Please be considerate of others who will use the spaces after you. This is a beautiful new school and we want to keep it looking great for the months and years to come. We have the privilege of having things like working soap dispensers and so let's take care of this place and ensure that we always have soap available to us. There are recycling stations for bottles and boxes as well as green waste bins and paper recycling stations inside the school. Outside the school, there are several garbage bins close to our play spaces. Please take note of where these are around you so our grounds are always ready for playing on. Thanks for showing responsibility for keeping this place looking good!

  • Swim Team - Please see Ms. Egelstad (room 316) for the Swim Club meeting today at lunch to prepare for the first practice today at Eagleridge Pool at 4:30.
