Music Contest: Our morning music contest returned yesterday. Each week, a staff member DJ will be invited to create a playlist to a theme that you will hear every morning as you get settled in class. Guess the theme, enter the contest at the office before the end of the day on Friday and win prizes! This contest is open to all staff and students.
DJ Jazzy Jung shared two more songs today - Life's a happy song' by Mickey Rooney & 'Happy Birthday' by Patty Smith Hill. Check the front foyer for a printed list of songs from each day. This week's theme may seem really obvious, but there is a second hidden theme. Good luck, everyone! Rock on!
Outside Play Day: As long as the rain is not too heavy, every day is an outside day. During breaks, stop in the office to sign out a basketball, frisbee, soccer ball, or football. Please return your equipment at the end of the same break each time. Want a piece of equipment that is not there? Please see Ms Jung.
You have likely noticed our undercover areas lead to rushing water. Please stay away from these fountains as this action is not ideal for learning. Dress appropriately for the weather and be sure to shake off and shuffle your feet as you head in from outside.
Lost and Found: For items that have gone missing or that have been misplaced, please look in the wooden bin in the MPR or the multi-purpose room where the cafeteria tables are at lunch. This is a good time to label all personal belongings so that nothing goes missing, including your jackets and runners! Lost a small and likely, valuable item such a watch, phone or jewellery? Stop in at the office to claim your lost item.
Happy 50^th Birthday! Happy 50^th Birthday to Mr. Clay! With a farm full of animals, students and staff wishing you a very happy milestone birthday today, we hope your day is a memorable one! Earth, Fire, Wind and Water hope you have a hay day on the Bull… -er farm today! Yee haw!!
The Farm Animal photo booth will be open at lunch to everyone wanting a birthday bash photo. See you with your friends in the main foyer today
Photo Day today: Staff please get to the gym right at the beginning of Nut Break for the Staff photo. Pods will be called in order: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind. You'll have a group photo at the Big Steps in the foyer, then individual photos right after that.
