Basketball news: The grade 8 boys ended their season yesterday as they played in the quarterfinal playoff game against Maillard. The game was filled with thrilling layups, steals, and 3 pointers all the way through but in the end, Maillard held on for a very close win. The final score was Maillard 56 / Moody 51. This was the teams first and only loss of the year. Mr. Abello and all of the basketball coaches are very proud of the team's effort and attitude all year as they have represented Moody with all of the characters of Respect in each game and practice. Way to go boys!
The basketball pizza party for all grades, boys and girls will be taking place next week so all players are reminded to bring your $5 to one of the bball coaches: Mr. Budai, Mr. Pillsbury, Mr. Zimmer, or Mr. Abello.
