​Happy Halloween! Music today was Cranberries, "Zombie" and Boris Pickett's "Monster Mash."

We'd like to thank Ms. Ono for overseeing our Halloween Activity afternoon. If you signed up for the dance, we have DJ Fabdulla ready with some special Halloween dance tunes. If you are not registered in anything, please note that you are automatically signed up for the dance. Teachers, please send your attendance to the office as soon as you can this afternoon to ensure accurate counts in each activity.

Remember that school rules apply during all activities and there are no in and out privileges. For example, once you're in the dance, you're at the dance. Once you are in the computer games activity group, you stay in that group.

As school rules apply, there are no photos, videos or audio to be taken of any students today or during the dance. Please keep your phones stored away and out of sight in your lockers or else your phone will be waiting for you at the office.

A special thank you to Mrs. Haddad in the office. She has been filling in for Ms. Taylor-Hill while she is away, and we have been so lucky to have Mrs. Haddad with us. She is moving onto Mary Hill Elementary as the Head Secretary there, and we wish her all the best. Mrs. Haddad – thank you for your dedication to helping our school run smoothly. You have been a huge asset to Moody Middle and we will miss you!

There will be no volleyball practice after school today for the girls' volleyball team. Mr. Budai will see you tomorrow for a quick meeting at lunch in his room.

If you are in choir and would like to audition for the "Homeward Bound" solo, please come to the music room today at lunch. If you can't make it, please come tomorrow at lunch.

Sr. Band – Due to the exciting Halloween night tonight, there will be NO Sr. Band tomorrow morning. Sleep in and we'll see you again on Monday morning.

Me to We Bake Sale! Bring your money for a great cause and a yummy treat at lunchtime and during the dance.

Bats and pumpkins are invading the school today and if you find one in the form of a black or orange piece of paper, bring it to Christine in the Youth Lounge at Nut break or after school. She will trade you for a ghoulishly good prize.

Halloween Costume Contest is on today at lunch in the gym! Be there right away – judging begins at 12:10.
