Announcements – Monday 18 September 2017

​Music today Count on Me by Bruno Mars. 

Jr. Band – Attention all Jr. Band members – our Squeak and Squawk night is tonight!  It starts at 6:30, hopefully most Jr. Band members will be able to attend.  The list of what room each instrument is meeting in will be posted in the foyer of the school.  Our first morning rehearsal is tomorrow morning at 7:40am.  Keep your ears open for the announcement of when the instruments are delivered.

Badminton Club– Students who have signed up for badminton club we have a short meeting at lunch today.  We'll meet in room 109 – that's Mr. Abello's room

Grade 7 Volleyball Girls – bring your forms to Mr. Sousa.  The first volleyball practice is tomorrow afterschool.

Tennis Team – There will be a brief meeting in Ms. Jung's room 103 at nut break by the office for students interested in playing on the tennis team

Field Hockey – We will have our first practice on Wednesday at 3:10-4:-00pm on the upper field for boys and girls in grade 6-8.  Be ready in gym strip and bring a mouth guard if you have one.

Terry Fox Run – Congratulations to our runners who participated in this weekend's neighbourhood runs.  Now it's time to think about surpassing your personal goals so you can enter to win a chance to pie your favorite teacher or staff member!  Every $10 you donate earns you a ticket into the October 6th draw! Got your story ready to share?

Cross Country – There will be a brief meeting for X country runners tomorrow at nut break in Mr. Pillsbury's class (upstairs in Earth Pod).

Evergreen Cultural Centre fieldtrip – forms go home today.  Next week are our 3 trips.
