Maillard had a very successful day at yesterday's meet. All 34 students who attended showed great sportsmanship and skills which contributed to Maillard placing in at least the Top 8 in 28 different events! 

Special mention goes to Isabella for her first place finishes in 1500 metres and 800 metres, Elyssa for her 1st place in 400 metres, Jasmine  for her 3rd place in high jump, Anthony for his 3rd place finish in 400 metres and 2nd place in long jump, Kevin F for his 3rd place in triple jump, Cole K for his 2nd place finish in 100 metres and 1st place in long jump, the fantastic Gr 7 4x100 team of Haley T, Julia A, Chelsea P, and Emma D for their 3rd place finish, the gr 6 boys 4 by 200 metre dream team (Mansa G, Anthony W, Tamani D, and Ryan H) and their first place finish, and the awesome Gr 8 4 by 100 relay team of Felipe R, Cole K, Nicky C, and Kevin F for their impressive 2nd place finish.

The ribbons will be on display at the office in the next few days, come by and have a look!

Maillard may be a smaller school, but we have awesome athletic talent!! Congratulations to all the athletes on a great day!!
