Three years after a group of parents had generously offered to donate some used children’s books to her classroom library, Mme. Zimmermann has continued the tradition of conducting a class Book Swap before Family Literacy Day.
What had begun as a simple idea evolved into a wonderful event! Mrs. Hynes, Division 4 and 14 joined forces to bring in over 200 previously-loved books, and on January 25th, every child left with something new to treasure! In addition, remaining books were donated to classroom libraries, the school library and charity to spread the love!
Many thanks to the parents, staff and volunteers who came out and helped make this event an enormous success!
