CHANGE REQUESTS--PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO CAREFULLY!
*If there is a problem with your schedule and you wish to request a change, please complete this Course Change Request Form before 8:00 am, Thursday, August 28th! Late submissions will not be accepted. Please note counsellors are NOT accepting requests for a course with a specific teacher or in a specific block/semester.
*Counsellors had already looked at each schedule carefully in June and made corrections or adjustments where possible. If you had submitted a change request back in June and did not see the change when schedules were reposted on June 27th, it means the change was not possible then. You are welcome to submit another request through the form now if you wish but it is unlikely to be possible.
*From August 26th to 28th, counsellors will be reviewing summer school results and confirming whether those students' schedules need adjusting. Counsellors will also be registering many new students and creating their timetables. When this form closes at 8:00 am on Thursday, counsellors will then review the submitted requests and see which ones can be accommodated. Updated schedules, with teacher names and classroom numbers, will be visible on the evening of Thursday, August 28th when MyEd goes "live". If your requested change does not show at that time, it means it was not possible for counsellors to make the change, but they will continue to try on Friday. Students should always check their schedule in MyEd just before starting classes in September in case anything has changed.
*Some schedules are still missing a course due to schedule conflicts for a course you requested and a lack of viable alternates. Counsellors are aware of these schedules and will continue to work on fixing them. Counsellors are also aware of schedules that have an imbalance of academic courses between semesters and have already attempted to address this, but options for movement are limited because of full classes.
*Please be aware that VERY FEW CHANGES WILL BE POSSIBLE, due to very limited space in courses.
*Course changes will NOT be handled through email or office visits. Any requests MUST be submitted through this Course Change Request Form, by 8:00 am on Thursday, August 28th. If you emailed your counsellor during the summer break about a request, you must still complete this form as we are not able to follow up on those prior emails.
Off-Block: Only Grade 12 students are eligible to apply for ONE off-block. If you wish to apply, complete the attached application form and email it to your counsellor. The completed and signed Grade 12 off block application form is due back to your counsellor by 4:00 pm, Wednesday, August 27th (but sooner is even better please as this can assist with fixing other students' schedules!) and will be reviewed by admin for approval.
