High school students, teachers, counsellors and school groups are invited to join UVic thinkers, innovators and artists from across campus as they explore dozens of world-changing ideas at the university’s fourth annual "IdeaFest." With over fifty panels, workshops, exhibits, lectures, performances, open mics, screenings and tours, the hardest part will be choosing which events to attend.
This year’s festival will showcase an impressive line-up of youth-friendly events, with topics ranging from graphic novels and climate science to orca culture and archaeological bone identification. All events are free and, unless indicated, no registration is required. http://www.uvic.ca/ideafest/
