Good afternoon all:

It was soooooooooo great to see the children!  I was reminded just how much I missed them.  Not sure what some of them have been eating over the time they have been out of school but oh my goodness how did they grow that much in a few short months?

I have attached two of the information sheets that were sent home with the students that attended today.

Once again - a reminder that the District Health Check and the District School Policy are both available in your KEV (Cash on Line) account.  They are required documents so please complete them right away. The forms might ask for the teacher's name or division however you are able to bypass this question and complete the form.  Our divisions and class placements are still a work in progress - isn't just about everything?????

Please be sure to check our Como Lake Middle School public website often as we do post our latest updates and information on there as well.

One more thing to mention on our list of IN THE KNOW AT COMO - We are what is considered a closed campus. This means once your child has arrived at school they are here until dismissal time. Students are not allowed to leave school grounds to go to local restaurants (McDonalds) or go to the corner store. If a student is being dismissed or leaving early we must hear from a parent/guardian. You can also do this in the online absence if you need your child to be dismissed early or they will be arriving late. You can give us a phone call to let us know you are giving permission for your child to be dismissed or leave for appointments etc. They do a sign out at the office before they leave. If we have heard from parent/guardian then the student can just watch out the door until they see their ride and away they go.  Otherwise parent/guardian must come into the office to do the sign out for the student. 

I am sure as we go along I will think of more information to pass on - well I am positive that will happen!
