Yearbooks!
We wish to distribute yearbooks to grade 9-11 students on Thursday, June 26th at 9:30 am, at the Poirier Rec Center Recreation Rink (not the main rink, but the rink next to the curling rink). We do not want students crossing the picket line for non-essential service business (ex: exams), so distribution at the school not possible.
We will need 12-24 parent volunteers to help us with the distribution . We will also need a pick-up truck or covered pick- up truck to transport the boxes of yearbooks over to the rink a little earlier that morning.
The plan will be to distribute the books on the floor of the rink at 9:30am. The students will be able to sign each other’s books in the seats surrounding the rink, or outside the Rec Center. We would expect all students to be gone from the community center by 11:30am. We know our students will be patient with the process and respectful of the community center patrons and staff, and each other.
