βIt has been a challenging start up this year; however, everyone pulled together with excellent results. Thank you, Families, for your patience and understanding! The district very kindly recognized that an additional teacher would assist us in an organization difficulty we were facing. As a result we spent many hours on Thursday and Friday changing the class lists to add a 15th division. The new class will be Grade 2/3 and in the empty classroom in the Grade 2/3 wing.
Other than the Ks and K/1 class who will have signage indicating where they come in, all other grades will line up as they did last week. Once attendance is taken, the students will move to their new classrooms.
There may be some initial disappointments about a class placement but it is important for everyone to remember that students are very thoughtfully placed in classes keeping in mind the class size and composition requirements.
This will be a wonderful year!!
