Work Experience/Career Development -Skill Development for Students with Special Needs
This program is intended to provide students with an opportunity to discover and develop appropriate work skills, and to provide a supportive environment in which they can apply those skills. The program provides students the opportunity to participate in eight classroom sessions that:
A manual has been developed that supports the classroom and training component of this program. Upon completion of training, students participate in on-site work experience for a maximum of 30 hours per year. At present the number of students participating in this program range between 90 – 100 students.
