In Information and Technology students will not only experience a wide variety of software, but be able to develop their own multimedia-rich applications. Skills learned in Information Technology courses can be applied to other subjects to create dynamic multimedia projects.

Basic Courses
Information Technology 9 - a general introductory course for students in Grade 9. Students will cover a wide variety of topics in the area of digital media, computer programming, information communication technology, and Web 2.0.
Modular Survey 11 - a general introductory course for students in Grade 10, 11, or 12 who have not taken a computer course at the secondary level. Students will cover a wide variety of topics in the area of digital media, computer programming, information communication technology, and Web 2.0.
Advance Courses
Digital Media Development 11 - a course for students who have completed Information Technology 9 or Modular Survey 11. Students will create multimedia rich projects similar to what they see on the internet. Topics include: Desktop Digital Video; 2D Graphic Design and Publishing; 2D/3D Design and Animation; Web Publishing.
Digital Media Development 12 - a course designed for students who have completed Digital Media Development 12. This course will look at advance techniques in: Desktop Digital Video; 2D Graphic Design and Publishing; 2D/3D Design and Animation; Web Publishing.
Computer Programming 11- a course designed for students who are interested in a career in computer science, engineering, or systems administration. Students will learn techniques and problem solving skills that are applicable to a wide variety of programming languages.
Computer Programming 12 - a course designed for students who have completed Computer Programming 11. This course will build upon the skills and ideas covered in Computer Programming 11.
