| TERRY FOX MUSIC WINTER CONCERT |

Terry Fox Music is showcasing the School’s Concert Band, Jazz Combos, Choir and Vocal Jazz in a Winter Concert next Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00pm in the Terry Fox Theatre. The Concert Band is exploring selections from West Side Story as well as some new Christmas arrangements. The Terry Fox Jazz Combos will delight through a variety of genres, and with pieces that include the Theme from the Muppet Show. The Choir and Vocal Jazz will be singing everything from Michael Buble, to Josh Groban to STYX and show off some humours takes on some old Christmas favourites. We would love to have your join us to celebrate both the music and the season. Tickets are available from Music Students and are 5$ each. All proceeds will go to finance extra-curricular field trips and activities in the Music Department. Hope to see you there!

Neufeld Food Orders - Delivery is Dec 9th at the front of the school at 2:30.
Breakfast with Santa- Sat. Dec 10th 9am-12:00 pm at Terry Fox cost $12.00 each 3 years and up, $10.00 each with a food donation. Tickets available at the door. Ticket price includes: breakfast (pancakes, sausages, juice, coffee/tea), crafts, picture with Santa, cookie decorating. Bring your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers!
Super Bowl Party- keep Sun Feb 5th aside and join us with our very large screen tv, lunch etc and see your favorite team up close!

| Attention Grade 11 & 12 Students With a Job in the Trades |

If you have a student with a job in the trades, please ask them to fill out a survey which can qualify them for a $1,000 Scholarship and 4 High School Credits after 1,000 hours of work. The Secondary School Apprenticeship (SSA) Survey as well as a list of trade jobs can be downloaded from our website. Have student fill it out and hand into the school office as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Haerdi at the school.

There are blood donor clinics in POCO at Northside Church- Grace Campus…2606 Kingsway on Dec 5th and Jan 2nd from 1:30-8pm. There are also clinics in Coq, POMO, Maple Ridge etc. Students and parents can call 1 888 2 DONATE for appointments and information about eligibility. They can also email Jeffrey O’Brien at Cdn Blood Services (jeffrey.obrien@blood.ca ) to arrange group appointments and a shuttle bus.
