Hosts needed for Austrian Students Visiting in September 2013!

We require families to host approx. 20 students from our sister school in Vienna who will be visiting Riverside for about 2 weeks in September.  If you are interested print off and fill out the hosting form in the documents bin below, or see Mr. Luongo for more information.

Spring Break 2013 Austria & Spain Trip Participants Needed! 

We require about 20 students for our Spring Break trip.  Interested students are encouraged to see Mr. Luongo ASAP for trip forms and deposit payments!

The trip will begin with several days in Vienna where students will stay with Austrian students and their families for the real, authentic experience.  Host families will provide most meals and give students with a chance to see what it's like to be a teen in Florence.  Students will be able to visit many of the most popular tourist & historical sites in addition to their time with their host family.

The trip costs $4100 after all taxes, airport fees, daytrips & transport, tips for tour guides, insurance, and covers most meals.  There will be no additional fees besides some lunches and whatever shopping the students choose to do.  Payment plans can be worked out with the school, but a deposit is required ASAP (preferably before Oct. 30th so our tour coordinator can confirm our bookings. 

A passport valid for six months longer than the trip is required and will be kept locked up during our time overseas.  Students will be expected to carry a Valid BC ID card or Driver's License while abroad.  Private purchase of this trip would cost at least $6000 per person.  It is not likely they will ever get a trip this incredible and diverse for such a low price!  It also has the added bonus of building relationships with people their age in Italy so they’ll always have contacts if they want to go back later in life.

Students who participate in this trip are expected to host an exchange student from one of our many European sister schools at some point during their time at Riverside if possible.  This allows us to keep additional hotel costs down as they will then host Riverside students at no cost when we are visiting.
